The Knox County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) Cold Case Unit seeks funding to carry on the efforts of their Cold Case Unit using DNA technology to solve their violent cold cases. Review of 24 cold homicide cases and has been digitally uploaded all materials from each case file (documents, photos, audio, and video) into a database. In cooperation with the Sheriff's offices from Anderson, Blount, Davidson, and Jefferson Counties will work collaboratively to resolve their backlog of cold cases.
