The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) proposes to create a Cold Case Unit to review 415 preselected cold cases, which include 249 homicides, 96 sexual assaults and other UCR Part 1 violent crimes. It is their goal to process approximately 75 to 100 cases containing biological evidence suitable for DNA testing.
