Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2009, $464,724)
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) proposes to apply federal funding to re-examine unsolved 'cold' sexual assault and homicide cases and enhance their capacity for solving future cases. Upon completion of the grant period, it is expected that precedence will be in place for systematic processing of multiple current and 'cold' cases in the future.
