Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $288,762)
This project will develop a secured, Web-based search engine capable of providing investigators with the thermal properties of materials that will assist with expediting the process of making accurate heat flux calculations by fire/arson investigators. Making data accessible via the internet will reduce examination time and thus reduce case backlogs.
