Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $494,319)

The goal of this research is to develop a human specific DNA quantitation module for incorporation into Network Biosystem's fully integrated microfluidic instrument and biochip. This fully integrated chip and instrument will generate STR profiles from 16 samples in 45 minutes without user intervention. ca/ncf
