Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $447,174)
This funds for this project will be used to send DNA samples from stranger sexual assault cases for analysis. Private laboratories will be used for these analyses. This process is meant to provide a quick turn-around on DNA analyses for cases that usually do not receive such priority.
