NLECTC-SE Center Operations 2007 Program Year

The National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center-Southeast (NLECTC-SE) will support the Office of Science and Technology (OST) research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) process supporting the adoption of new technologies for use by state and local law enforcement agencies. NLECTC-SE will assist in the identification of technology needs and operational requirements; testing, demonstrating, and evaluating new technologies emerging from the OST R&D cycle; and providing capacity building and technology assistance to the public safety community. NLECTC-SE will also support OST RDT&E communications interoperability and information sharing technology programs.
