Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $924,445)
The National Center for Forensic Science (NCFS) at UCF will deliver already existing training in Fire Debris Analysis, Organic Chemistry of Fire Debris, Explosive Debris Analysis, and Fire Dynamics to 120 forensic scientists. These trainings coupled with the development of a curriculum in Post Bomb Blast Investigation will be combined and provide the basis for training presentations at the 2009 Technical Working Group for Fire Debris and Explosives (TWGFEX) Symposium.
