These funds to Aerospace Corporation( The National Law Enforcement and Corrections Center - West) will support the CommTech Program by providing 1) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for various technical areas which relate to public safety communications, including, but not limited to, VoIP, Software Defined Radio and Cognitive Radio, Advanced Wireless Data, Antenna Technologies, Satellite Communication Technologies and Application and Hybrid Terrestrial/Satellite systems as well as DoD related communication systems which might be applicable for law enforcement, homeland security and public safety applications; 2) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to coordinate, update, coauthor, author, proof and provide guidance for Executive Technical Briefs (ETBs) and other technical summaries of various CommTech Program projects; 3) Execute pilot programs in the aforementioned areas of communications interoperability.
