This award is for continued operations and maintenance of the Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization (OLETC), a specialty center that is a part of the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) system. OLETC brings affordable and innovative technologies/products to the law enforcement and corrections communities, focusing on near-term commercialization initiatives identified by NIJ - OST through its Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Advisory Council (LECTAC).

This award provides supplemental funding for award 2005-IJ-CX-K003 for the Justice Technology Assistance Program (JTAP), to enable it to provide continued assistance to it's clients through the defined priorities of the nationally developed Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Advisory Council (LECTAC). Coupled with a requirements definition from the National Institute of Justice, JTAP seeks new and emerging technologies with applications to these national priorities. JTAP's technical approach will encompass three tasks: 1) The Mock Prison Riot, 2) The Technology Product Network and Commercialization, and 3) The 'Surviving a Shooting' Video.
