Independent Assessment and Evaluation of Less-Lethal Devices

This project will continue to provide long term independent engineering assessment and evaluation capability. This will focus on, but not limited to, existing and developing less-lethal technologies. Assessments will include performance characteristics of recently developed and current less-lethal devices. They may also include simulation and computational analysis (modeling), operational suitability evaluations, and a Human Effects Advisory Panel (HEAP) Assessment as requested by the NIJ Program Manager.
