PROJECT SUMMARY 2003-IJ-CX-1037
The proposed study will explore the differential and protective factors related to histories of physical and sexual victimination reported by three group of women in Kansas; women incarcerated at th Topeka Correctional Faclity for Women, women from three urban communities in the state, and women from a rural commuity in the State. The researchers will conduct broad interviews with approximately 500 women and in depth follow interview with at least 20 of these women to examine the consequences of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and youth maltreatment and victimization.
