Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2003, $248,375)
The proposal is to establish the Western Forensic and Law Enforcement Training Center (WFLETC) to train First Responders and Crime Scene Personnel in the proper handling and collection of evidence as well as to train forensic personnel in the basic aspects in analysis of explosive incident evidence. Additionally, the First Responder personnel would be targeted for training in the area of explosive events as well.
