Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $230,006)
This project will identify how a Performance Management Information System (PMIS) used by law enforcement agencies might be adapted to corrections environments. The case-control study will compare two groups of people (one the case group and one the control group) in order to come up with certain behaviors that trigger use of a PMIS. A PMIS will then be modeled for the corrections environment. Upon completion of this phase of the project, NIJ will decide whether or not to fund phase two. At this time, funding has only been provided for phase one, described above. Phase two would include a field test of the corrections PMIS system.
