Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $499,804)
The goal of this project is to develop a spectral database that includes spectra from nominal mass electron impact, accurate mass DART TOF, and Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR). This enhanced spectral database allows forensic scientists the ability to cross-reference the spectra obtained from an unknown sample to an online reference collection database. This tool will help forensic scientists' interpretations of unknown samples. ca/ncf
