This award will allow for the formation of the Research Transition Center Enterprise within the Center for Identification Research (CITeR) at West Virginia University (WVU). The proposed Research Transition Center is designed to leverage CITeR's research portfolio and serve the need of government sponsors for effective transition of CITeR identification technology research into systems of strategic importance for law enforcement, national security, and defense.
