SED Technology LLC (SED) proposes the development of a tool (3D/IR-Visual) to enhance the collection, quantitative analysis, storage and maintaining a chain of custody of impression evidence. The Infrared imaging tool coupled with a robust matching engine and associated algorithms will tested for the ability to image and match a variety of impression evidence items including metallic tool marks, ballistic shell casings and tread matching.
