This study will explore the incidence and impact of emotional, physical and/or sexual victimization on inmates who are returning from incarceration. Inmates who are transferred to halfway houses as part of the transition process will be interviewed and tested on a variety of issues related to their experiences while in prison. Follow-up surveys will be conducted to measure their adjustment to society and rates of recidivism.
