These funds to Wayne State University are for developing a formalized review process to analyze injury data from the use of LL impact devices. Additionally, the reviews will analyze injuries of backface deformation the deformation of the backing material which can cause nonpenetrating injuries and is a measure of blunt trauma protection of internal organs to wearers of bulletproof vests.
