NIJ Drug Court Evaluation Plan Review and Technical Assistance Initiative

This continuation grant adds $99,996 to NDCI's cooperative agreement to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to OJJDP and BJA drug court grantees, and extends the project period to 9/30/07. For grantees whose awards specify evaluation plan review, NDCI will obtain and review plans, and provide guidance as necessary until the plans are satisfactory; NDCI will report compliance issues to the grant manager. NDCI will field and triage evaluation-related requests for TTA from all BJA and OJJDP drug court grantees. Responses involving intensive or large-scale efforts require task and budget approval from NIJ. NDCI will track TTA requests, and submit monthly TTA request and response reports to NIJ. NIJ will use this to monitor and identify patterns across grantees, and to set priorities for short- and long-term tasks. As directed by NIJ, NDCI will develop TTA materials and deliver trainings and other presentations. Each task will require budget approval. ca/ncf
