PROJECT SUMMARY FOR GRANT 2002-IJ-CX-K015.
Vanek Prototype Co. will design, fabricate, test, and demonstrate an eight-shot RAP launcher that can deliver blunt impact of OC to a maximum range of 50 meters. The projectile is less-than-lethal at the muzzle and is eye safe. The single shot RAP developed in the previous program has shown to be pragmatic but that a multi-shot system is needed. The Multi-Shot RAP can be used in civilian LTL scenarios by corrections, law enforcemtn agencies, and the FAA.
