PROJECT SUMMAMRY FOR 2001-RD-K003
This project will demostrate the benefit of using a prototype handheld radio can support multiple air-standards in different bands, enabling the same radio to be used to communicate via
multiple commercial and public safety radio systems. This handheld software radio will also include distress or "panic" button functionality, allowing used to alert law enforcement agencies of emergency situations at the push of a button, eliminating the need to communicate verbally.
