Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2001, $698,460)
The Arizona Department of Public Safety will use these funds to establish a mitochondrial DNA laboratory at its Central Regional Crime Laboratory, Phoenix, for primarily Indian Country cases, but also for local law enforcement cases in Arizona and for enhancement to its alcohol services to Indian Country and Arizona law enforcement.
