PROJECT SUMMARY 2001-LT-BX-K007 S-2
The National Corrections and Law Enforcement Training and Technology Center (NCLETTC) is a non-profit organization, located inside the walls of the former West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, West Virginia. Its mission is to offer low cost quality training to corrections, law enforcement and first responder agencies throughout the country in a unique facility. The majority of this funding will be used to build the new "First Responder Academy" that will be located on a 20 acre tract of land donated by Marshall County and CONSOL Coal. In response to the many requests for first responder training and from recommendations from the Mock Disaster, we feel it is essential to build the academy and deliver training onsite for first responders.
