PROJECT SUMMARY FOR 2001 IJ-CX K018
This cooperative agreement supports the administration of the Tenth National Survey of HIV/AIDS, STDs, and TB in Correctional Facilities. It is designed to identify and analyze patterns of practice in addressing these diseases in adult correctional systems and juvenile detention systems nationwide, gather and tabulate available aggregate data on STD and TB testing and test results, and identify and document exemplary and promising programs and approaches for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, STDs, and TB among correctional inmates and releasees from prisons, jails, and juvenile facilities.
