Project Summary for 1999-LT-VX-K002 (S-2)
Eastern Kentucky University has developed a training curriculum on bomb crime scene analysis for law enforcement officers similar to the curricula provided by the FBI and ATF. This curriculum has provided the training required for law enforcement officers to conduct bombing crime scene investigations. The project has brought state and municipal officers from locations across the United States to Eastern Kentucky University for classroom and practical training. This funding for Eastern Kentucky University will be used to have the contractor add a second module (CD-ROM) to house the additional 300 megabytes of video and 400 megabytes of audio needed to enhance the initial prototype product.
