In 2000 the National Institute of Justice funded Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) to develop a computer-based training medium for bombing crime scene investigation. This supplement funds revision to that tool to incorporate recommended changes coming our of the Beta version evaluation.

This supplemental request funds the conversion of databases dealing with large vehicle bombs and meth labs into a secure electronic file system for placement on CD's for distribution, through the FBI Bomb Data Center, to accredited bomb squads throughout the United States, completing NIJ-sponsored work on developing these databases begun in 2002.
