The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has a longstanding history of collaboration with and supporting the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) on research, evaluation, and programmatic projects. With this solicitation, in partnership OVC, NIJ seeks competitive proposals for a single award that will support evaluation research on the Vision 21: Law Enforcement and the Communities They Serve: Supporting Collective Healing in the Wake of Harm (Collective Healing).

NIJ has a longstanding history of collaborating with and supporting the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) on research, evaluation, and programmatic projects. Over the years, the shared priorities of OVC and NIJ have resulted in a number of collective projects, workshops, and research.

NIJ FY 14 Methodological Research to Support NIJ's Program of Research Examining Violence and Victimization of American Indian (AI) and Alaska Native (AN) Youth

Closing Date

In partnership with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), NIJ seeks proposals for research that will provide prevalence data and research detailing the occurrence and forms of victimization experienced by American Indian (AI) and Alaska Native (AN) youth living in or near tribal communities. In particular, NIJ seeks proposals to develop and test optimum data collection procedures for self-report data on violence and victimization experienced by AI and AN youth living in tribal communities or settings.

NIJ FY 12 Evaluation of the Office for Victims of Crime Wraparound Victim Legal Assistance Network Demonstration Project

NIJ seeks proposals to evaluate the first phase of the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Wraparound Victim Legal Assistance Network Demonstration Project (seewww.ojp.usdoj.gov/ovc/grants/pdftxt/FY2012_WraparoundVictimLegalAssistance.pdf). The OVC Wraparound Victim Legal Assistance Network Project will fund up to six demonstration sites to develop holistic models for wraparound pro bono legal assistance networks that offer the wide range of legal assistance that victims need in the wake of their victimization.
