The Vermont Forensic Laboratory (VFL) will use funds from this award specifically used for the following goals: 1) Reduce the backlog of forensic biology/DNA cases; 2) reduce the backlog of DNA database samples; 3) provide continuing education opportunities for Biology staff; and 4) Increase capacity and maintain stability of the VFL DNA laboratory.
