The goal of the Butler County Coroners Office is to seek accreditation from NAME to 1) attract and maintain a professional workforce including qualified medicolegal death investigators and forensic pathologists so as to 2) produce a credible, accurate and consistent death investigation product. The Butler County Coroners Office is pursuing the Strengthening the Medical Examiner-Coroner System Program Grant to cover the cost of the accreditation process.
