The St. Louis County Police Department will use funds to purchase and implement a STRmix expert forensic software package and conduct the necessary training to use the software and interpret the results. The software will be used to resolve previously unresolvable complex mixed DNA profiles, use more of the information in a DNA profile, enter more profiles into the CODIS database, and interpret DNA results faster.
