Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2017, $37,500)

The Maine State Police (MSP) will use funds to increase capacity in forensic biology casework by renovating spaces to create extraction and quantification rooms for use by forensic chemists (biology screeners). In addition, MSP will provide training for Forensic chemists in extractions and quantifications.
