Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2017, $841,610)
This project will reduce the backlog of forensic biology/DNA cases and DNA database samples by funding overtime for scientists and purchase supplies to work forensic biology/DNA cases and DNA database samples. Funding requests for this project also include travel for continuing education for the scientists and equipment to increase the capacity of the laboratory.
