Mr. Aaron Brudenell's educational background consists of a B.A. in Chemistry, an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, and is a graduate of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms National Firearm Examiner Academy where he is currently an instructor. He has over 17 years of Forensic Science education, training, casework, and courtroom testimony experience in multiple disciplines including Chemical Analysis, Toxicology, Crime Scene Analysis, and Firearm and Tool Mark Examination. Mr. Brudenell has been employed full time at a total of five crime laboratories in four state and local law enforcement agencies and has testified as an expert witness in criminal trials in Arizona, Idaho, and Washington State. In his role as a consultant, Mr. Brudenell is available to perform a majority of the tasks he has completed for government forensic labs where he has been employed including evidentiary analysis, peer review of casework, courtroom testimony, research, teaching, and administrative or committee responsibilities. To date, his list of clients outside of his full time position as a Criminalist with the Arizona Department of Public Safety has included the National Institute of Justice, the Drug Enforcement Administration's Special Testing and Research Laboratory, and West Virginia University's Forensic Science Initiative and Research Corporation, civil attorneys, and private forensic consultants. Aaron Brudenell is a member of a variety of forensic organizations and has held a National Security Clearance at the Secret Level.
