The document provides information, citations, and brief summaries for research concerning violence against women funded by the NIJ Office of Research and Evaluation between 1993 and 2018. The document is divided into nine separate subject categories: Category A - Justice & Related Systems; Category B - Definition & Measurement; Category C - Epidemiology; Category D - Social & Cultural Context; Category E - Trafficking in Persons; Category F - Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Evaluations; Category G - Synthesis of Existing Information; Category H - NIJ Jointly Funded Projects; Category J - Violence Against Indian Women; and Category K - Special Projects. For each entry, award details and final report/product summaries are provided. Award details include: grant number and title, dollar amount of the award, the primary investigator (PI), the award monitor, current status of the award, and a summary of the research. Final report/product summaries include: Product Number (NCJ Number), product/report title, and an abstract of the final report/product. Hundreds of awards are detailed and full reports are available from NCJRS. An index of grants is provided.
