Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $2,500,000)
This project is the continuation of additional research, analysis, and evaluation of Problem Nature Codes in the City of Minneapolis. The purpose of the work is to continue a comprehensive approach to public safety to ensur that law enforcement can prioritize response to public safety emergencies that they are trained to respond to; while building other alternatives that require more specialized training, and a more wholistic community based alternative approach.
